Latina Bloggers Weekly Round-up
Hola, Latinas! Have you done something heroic today? Well, according to new research led by Stanford University professor, Phillip Zimbardo, Latinos are twice as likely as Anglos to take heroic action in an emergency situation. ¡Qué coraje! …The reason for this, Zimbardo speculates, is that there are “greater opportunities [for Latinos] to respond” or that being discriminated against gives them, “more compassion to others in need.” Whatever the reason, it should certainly be a source of pride for the community, don’t you think?
Okay before you run off to save the day, take a minute to see what Latina Bloggers have been up to this week!
