4 Ways to Overcome Blogger Stress

We all have different reasons why we decided to create and manage a blog. For most, if not all of us, we use blogging as a form of self-expression. A tool used to share thoughts, opinions, products, creativity and just about anything that comes to mind.We love it. Blogging is fun but consistently producing quality content, promoting, networking, maintaining a site and everything else that comes along with building and establishing an online presence can be–and is–overwhelming at times.
Being able to deal with the demands of content producing can help us be more effective, productive and less stressed.
A few ways to overcome blogging anxieties:
- Organize and plan out your blogging. Be sure to have a goal in mind in terms of your blogging career. Create a main goal and build sub goals for the day, week, month, etc. Have a plan for each goal and continuously work towards them. Having goals in mind will help you stay focused, be more productive and will allow you to love what you do that much more.
- Create a posting schedule. Whether you use an editorial calendar or have another method of updating your site(s), frequently producing quality content will help avoid the dreaded bloggers block, stress and lack of motivation that tends to plague us.
- Include productivity breaks in your daily schedule/routine. As much as we enjoy what we do, we all need a break. Create a working schedule and give yourself short breaks every now and then. Don’t check emails, reply to comments, finish blog posts, etc. give yourself that time to unwind. Taking breaks help reduce/avoid stress and allows you to take more control of your time.
- Have a hobby. Whether you work out, go for a walk, scrapbook or garden, having an outlet away from social media will let you come back to your blog with a fresh pair of eyes and a rested brain.
As much as we love blogging, we shouldn’t kill ourselves over it. Stress has a bad effect on our health and lives so let’s stay healthy and eliminate stress.
So go on, take a break and refresh your brain with things that you enjoy doing.

I also have an editorial calendar that I pop ideas into on the go. I only write about once a week for the next week. It keeps me from going nuts. Now what really stresses me is that growing inbox!!! I’m scared of it and actually avoiding it right now!

Have a definite leave after working long hours and done with everything. Pamper yourself in a way that you will enjoy it and forget about those hassles and refresh your mind. Then while doing blogging get yourself a thing that won’t make you bothered while you also get to think.
