When are you most productive?
Early in the morning?
After dinner or late evenings?
I think it is safe to say that we are all looking for ways to produce great content but often fail to realize that we need to be at our best in order to make that happen.
So instead I’ll ask, when are you more efficient?
The following list are different methods that can be used to help boost your blogging. The purpose is to help increase the amount of quality content you produce no matter how often you post.
- Consider brainstorming. Take some time during your day and jot things down as they come to mind. Keep a pen and notepad available or enter them on your smartphone using apps such as Evernote to keep things organized.
- Use an Editorial Calendar. This is what keeps me functioning at a somewhat normal pace. Being organized and developing a solid plan will help you keep everything together
- Consider asking your readers for advice. Invite/include guest posts get their opinion on what they’d like to see more of
- Get offline. Don’t fall into the trap of always being connected on different social networking platforms. Designate time throughout your day to social media. Constantly being online can cause you to be less productive and possibly getting caught up in unnecessary things
The most important piece of advice I can provide is taking the time out every day to prep for the following day. Focus your efforts on writing (even if you don’t post everyday), save your drafts and revise them as you go along. Create that routine and give your readers a reason to include your post in their daily routine.
