A Gravatar, also known as a globally recognized avatar, is a logo or picture used to identify you through your blog, comments, email address, interactions on forums, etc.
Why should you have one?
The number one reason to create your very own Gravtar is to increase your brand awareness. It is a way to have people recognize who you are and what you represent through your blog/brand.
Now that you know what a Gravatar is, follow the steps below to create your very own.
Sign up for a free account at Gravatar.com
One you have signed up, confirm your email address via a link sent to you
Choose a username and password
Upload a logo or picture from your computer and crop the image accordingly
Choose a rating and you are all done!
Go on and show off your Gravatar!
