Topics: Blog, Weekly Round-Up
Hola Blogueras!
Latina bloggers have been taking a much needed and well-deserved break this past week for the holidays, so we don’t have as many news items as usual. We hope that you’ve also enjoyed time with family and friends!
Las Noticias:
• Mexconnect mentioned the Muy Bueno Cookbook in their gift giving ideas. Muy Bueno Cookbook was also featured twice on NBC Latino – once for making tamales for the troops, and then for their Capirotada recipe.
• Unknown Mami of Unknown Mami was featured on Toilet Paper World Blog after sharing a DIY Toilet Paper Roll Tutorial on her own blog.
• Melanie of Modern Mami organized, along with Kohl’s, a way for four Orlando bloggers to make the Christmas of 4 other area families very special. Check out the touching story of what she did HERE.
• Laurita of Holdin Out For a Hero was featured in the Orlando Sentinel’s cover story regarding a new social network for Puerto Ricans called, Parranda.
• The Wise Latina Club‘s Viviana Hurtado debated Bill O’Reilly on the topics of immigration and the relevance of Spanish language media on Fox News Channel’s The O’Reilly Factor. Viewers also had their say!
Okay Latinas, ¿qué pasa con ustedes? What have you been up to? Do you have exciting noticias about yourself or one of our amigas? We want to know about it! E-mail us with the latest happenings in our Latina community and links to stories that feature our fellow blogueras. We may share it here on Latina Bloggers Weekly Round-up next week!
