Ready for March? Here are some lesser known upcoming holidays to consider celebrating:

National Women’s History Month, National Craft Month, National Nutrition Month, International Women’s Day (March 8th), International Earth Day (March 20th), and March 26th is Make Up Your Own Holiday Day, which I am declaring International Bloguera Day. ¿Qué opinan ustedes?

• Blanca Stella of Mi Caminar attended Premios Lo Nuestro as a guest of T Mobile.

• Dariela of Mami Talks and her co-founder/sister, Dariana on DariDesign Studio, will be exhibiting at Surtex 2013 in New York this May. You can follow and support their journey, HERE.

• Maria of Sex and the Beach and Blanca Stella of Mi Caminar were part of a Grassroots Panel.

• Mercedes of Be Chic Mag shared her Premio Lo Nuestro Best and Worst Dressed on Univision.

The Wise Latina Club‘s Viviana Hurtado has been named one of five “awesome blogs” covering minority communities by the prestigious Columbia Journalism Review.  Click here to read more on this recognition from a publication of the nation’s top j-school at Columbia University. Viviana was also published for the first time in Huffington Post Women. Her essay “The Feminist Mystique of Beyoncé” looks at  today’s woman on the 50th anniversary of the publication of Betty Friedan’s The Feminist Mystique through the pop icon.

• Divina of Dancing Hotdogs has been nominated as one of the Top Vloggers on Circle of Moms. You can vote for her HERE.

NBC Latino celebrated Dominican independence with some of their favorite Dominican bloggers, chefs, and traditional recipes. Melissa of HungryFoodLove was featured.
