• Monique of Curves and Chaos was a judge for the California Plus America Pageant this past weekend. Three women were crowned and will head to the Nationals for the Miss Plus America Pageant.

• Pilar of En Mi Cocina Hoy is collaborating with Baby Center Latino every Friday, writing about desserts, cookies and all things sweets.

• Carmen of Viva Fashion is continuing her partnership with David’s Bridal as part of their 2013 Style Council. She will be working with the brand throughout the year by sharing her expertise through David’s Bridal blog posts, media appearances and more.

• Carmen of Viva Fashion has also signed on to be spokesperson for Arm&Hammer Fabric Care.

• Claudya of Unknown Mami was asked to create a breakfast recipe by Lucky Supermarkets and her recipe for Mexican Chocolate Oatmeal Muffins was featured on their FB page.

• Lisann of Her Deep Thoughts has landed a supporting role in the new series “Pushing Dreams.” Lisann plays the character Carla Sanchez. You can see her in this trailer on YouTube.

• For the Presidential Inauguration, The Wise Latina Club‘s Viviana covered the Latino Inaugural Ball’s red carpet at Washington, DC’s Kennedy Center for Latina Magazine. Her article, which is being promoted on Latina’s homepage, focused on how Latino celebrities such as Eva Longoria are using their fame and money to influence politics.
