• The Wise Latina Club’s Viviana Hurtado received at South by Southwest (SXSW) the New Americano Award which “recognizes trendsetting individuals and organizations impacting the Latino market online.” Presented by SXSW’s official Latino event The Social Revolucíon, she shares the award with online magazine Latinitas and the online movement DreamActivist.org.

• Jai of Mami’s Time Out is a contributing writer to Parent Society – Read her first post HERE.

• Monica of Mommy Maestra is a PBS KIDS’ Math Mentor – which is a new team of early childhood educators and education bloggers who will provide parents tips and ideas on how to help children ages 2-8 learn early math concepts and integrate math activities into their daily lives as part of their new “It All Adds Up” initiative.

• Divina of Dancing Hotdogs, Ruby of Growing Up Blackxican and Lisa of Autism Wonderland are Sesame Place ambassadors for 2013.

• Lisa of Autism Wonderland is a contributor to latinamom.me. You can check out all the contributors, which includes many of our fellow blogueras, HERE.

• Jeannette of Hispana Global was named spokesperson for Pull-Ups and did a webinar about potty training as well as a Satellite Media Tour for Pull-Ups, which includes interviews with Univision, Telemundo, TV Azteca and CNN radio. In other news, Jeannette was also invited to tape a Yahoo! en español web show called Café con Tacones.
