Dear Latino/Hispanic Bro.s and Sisters, Wed, Nov 7th it began. The brain trust of the ole boys club got together and they’re deciding on OUR future. They’re talking about becoming the new minority and it’s scaring them sh**less. The thing is, it won’t stop there. History can attest to their propensity for violence and wars. This is not a message of hate. Barack Obama, a black man, holds one of, some say “the” highest office in the land and Blacks obviously weren’t the only ones who put him there. Let’s face it, everybody don’t have Love for our Prez but people of all groups are getting it; the world is changing. Women are on the come up, gays are coming out and Non-Americans are coming in. It’s progress and tolerance and inclusiveness. Die dog eat dog, survival of the fittest, every man for himself. Conservatism can not stop it but you can be dam# sure they gonna try. They’ll appear to succeed too and blood will probably be spilled but ultimately you can’t stop progress. African American and all Blacks, Latinos and Native Americans, Asians, all minorities or disenfranchised, let us not fall for what will surely come, a tactic of divisiveness between US. BE-AWARE, Peace

Let's leave races and ethnicities out of it
why does it matter if you’re latino or not? absolutely none of your posts have anything to do with latin countries or anything. I would call this racist but then I’d get jumped on because latino isnt a race (ecen though latinos are typically the ones using it like a race, ie latino pride, calling latino jokes racist, etc.)
it’s definitely prejudice, though, and if someone made a “Nordic Bloggers”, “Aryan Bloggers”, “Austrian American bloggers” or something equally silly and unnecessary they’d get attacked as a vicious racist and probably have their blog shut down. but excluding other races from LBC or For The Sistas or some such thing is acceptable and empowering to women (that is, only the ones that qualify).
Most of you aren’t even Latin; you’re Americans. Why this fixation on not admitting this? because you think it sounds exotic somehow or unique? Be proud to be American even if you’re also proud your parents or great great great grandparents came from Mexico or PR or Columbia or wherever. Why should our heritages matter, especially when we’re not even from Mexico or Ireland or Hungary or Taiwan?
I’m asking honestly. I don’t want to start a fight, I just would like to know why this is. thank you.

After the election and hearing the commentary from certain media outlets i wanted to holler @the spanish and Asian, open-minded and/or struggling family. I’m Black by the way. African Americans for the most part are a lost cause to republicans, they’re not even going there BUT other minorities they are coming for. How? Divide and conquer of course. Divide US. Cause dissension between US. All of us so-called minorities. It’s too soon but as 2016 nears; watch! Let us not fall for the okie doke. I’m just saying. Erika
Peace
