latism 2012 awards

For the second year in a row, Latinos in Social Media (LATISM) has revealed their list of top nominees in 28 categories ranging from best blogs, to social media networks, to best mobile campaigns.

We’re excited to see so many Latina bloggers make the cut. And, of course, we’re also especially excited to see Latina Bloggers Connect receive a nomination for “Best Latino(a) Social Network Leader” for the second time in a row. In fact, last year we won in a tie with Wise Latinas Linked.

We’d love to take this honor again and hope that you think we’re worthy of it and take a minute to vote. This award, in particular, is very special for us because it comes from you and it reflects that all the work and passion we put into this is worth it. Vote here.

And, in case you need convincing, here are 3 Reasons to Vote for Latina Bloggers Connect:

1. LBC was the first agency created specifically for Latina bloggers, with the sole purpose to elevate our community from within and connect you to brands and social causes that matter to you…and that pay! We opened those doors and made sure brands knew how to speak to you y en tu idioma.

2. LBC started as a one-woman team…me…that was it. One woman with no financing or backing, just the right vision and motivation to want to make it happen for all of us. We’ve now grown to include a few more incredible mujeres, all bloggers, all with a passion for this space and  a need to keep it real.

3. We embrace all bloggers alike: moms, fitness, food, lifestyle, fashion, eco, blogueras, travel, beauty, frugal, coupons, entertainment, etc. No one is excluded, all are welcome because every Latina blogger is unique, special and has her place.

That’s it. Enough of tooting our own horn and back to tooting your’s — it’s what we do best! ;)

Hope to see many of you at LATISM 2012 in Houston this week!

¡Gracias!
